- סַרְסֵרch. sam(סרסר to negotiate, be agent). Y.Ab. Zar. I, 39c sq. לסרסור קנס … ברא דמְסַרְסֵר לארמאי he fined the broker (for selling a camel to a gentile), and they called him a man that serves as a Roman agent. Pesik. Shub. p. 165a> והוה דין מסרסר לדיןוכ׳ and thus they pimped for one another.
